Kodi on Xbox Series X Crashes When Viewing TV Show Library
#1
I use Kodi on an xbox series X, with my content being served from a Raspberry Pi file server over LAN.  I am using the most up to date version of Kodi available in the Microsoft Store.  I've enabled debugging, but because the issue results in a crash where the program is exited, details of what caused the crash are not available upon restart.  The problem does not occur when viewing my Movies library, but will almost always crash when attempting to view my TV Show library.  One thing I have noticed is extremely high system memory usage at all times when using Kodi.  it will say over 95% usage, around 4 gigs or so, despite the Series X having 16 gigs of RAM.  I've reinstalled Kodi, but the issue persists once populating my TV Show library data.  I have installed kodi on a Windows computer, linked to the same file server, and the problem is not replicated.  If anyone can instruct me on how to change the output location of the log file so I  can access them without using Kodi, I assume I can view the logs.

The simplest way to share logs is with the log uploader addon that you'll find in the repo.

Details in the next post.

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

It seems I'm unable to browse/search add-ons without crashing either.  However, I'm unsure as to how this would resolve the issue as, as I mentioned previously, the logs are cleared upon restart of Kodi following each crash.  I noticed this morning that the Kodi version available on the Microsoft store was upgraded to 21 Omega.  The issue persists despite updating.
