I looked for an answer before posting.

I am running KODI 20.3 on RasPI 5 with LibreELEC 11.0.06 and I would like to update to KODI 20.5.

This may seem like a dumb question, how do I do it without rebuilding from scratch?

LibreELEC 11.0.06 is the latest release, if you want anything newer the you will have to install LE 12 that is Kodi 21 Beta 2 (or rather RC2).
