Hi,
thanks for reaching out via the forum. It will be good if you can share some more information. Which Kodi version and which Remote App version do you use (a beta version or any of the official releases)?
Before reading your post I was only testing with the Enigma2 add-on and the RedBull video add-on (connected via IPTV Manager), which both work and show the EPG. I now even activated the PVR IPTV Simple add-on, and this also works as expected -- it shows the EPG info where also Kodi does. My test system uses Kodi 19.5 and I tested with both Remote App 1.12.1 and latest beta.

Hi, thank you so much for your response!
I am using the latest stable Kodi v.20.2 Nexus on 64-bit Windows (Win 11 22H2) and official IPTV Simple client v.20.11.0 installed from repository. On my iPhone XS Max (iOS 16.5.1 c) i have also the latest Official Kodi Remote v.1.12.1.
Also, I wanted to add that on iPhone in "Now Playing" menu it shows the current EPG program name and also it shows the EPG list if I go to the "Channel Guide" but it has no information about timing (duration) of programs. So it seems like it doesn't load the timing information from Kodi but only programs (TV shows) names...

Is it possible for you to roll back to 19.5, just for testing and narrowing this down? Would not be the first issue with the Kodi API on 20.x.

The thing is I never used 19.5 on Windows before. I started using from stable and final 20 recently and have this issue from the first moment I installed Kodi on Windows.
I've been using 19 RC and nightly images and even earlier versions on Allwiner Orange Pi Plus 2E before and I had EPG showing on my iPhone then with no problems.

Hm, this could then be a problem of Kodi and not the remote app. I will need to look at this deeper, but can only do this in a week from now as I am on travel.

I could now look into this a bit deeper. To be able to show the current broadcasted title the App needs to know the starttime and endtime of each title. This is used to determine which is the current running and next title. If no starttime and endtime is given, the App will display "Not available". This also matches your description that you are not seeing any starttime and endtime in the EPG inside the App. The other views which show the current running title use different API commands. I now also tested this with Kodi 20.2 on my Linux test VM, and this works. Are you sure there is no problem with the EPG supplier? And could you share a screenshot of the App's EPG and Kodi's EPG?

Thanks for the screenshots, they also show clearly there is no starttime and endtime shared via API. I will try to get the latest Kodi to my Windows VM for reproduction.

Just now installed Kodi 20.2 on my Win10 notebook. This works as well (Enigma2 and also IPTV Simple). The issue is not a general problem, but somehow seems to be related to your setup or configuration. Can you share the URL to the M3U and XMLTV you use in your "IPTV Simple" add-on?
