Hello,
I’m new to Kodi and I’m using emby as my back end to find my content but I notice I can’t transcode via Kodi is there a setting I need to enable or should I post on the emby forums

Kodi handles most codecs so transcoding is usually not necessary. Why do you need to transcode?

I didn’t know that it’s just emby normally transcodes so I thought that was the norm but that’s good to know I don’t have to transcode that will be much easier on my cpu
