OS X IPTV Simple Client - PVR manager is starting up: 0% and no channel
#1
Hi team,

I've be using Kodi 19.3 on my Mac for a while perfectly.
I've added the add-on IPTV Simple Client but after I add the Playlist location and PVR manager is refreshing then it stays at 0% .
The IPTV service provider works with Smartplayers (On my TV, not in Kodi) for example with no problem. Not sure if it's m3u or xtream though.

See the playlist format I'm using in Kodi:
myurl.com:8080/get.php?username=USER&password=abcd1234&type=m3u

On Kodi I see:
"PVR manager is starting up: 0%
Loading channels from clients"

Yesterday it stopped there:
2023-09-09 10:01:10.575 T:3468329 WARNING <general>: Skipped 374 duplicate messages..
2023-09-09 10:01:10.575 T:3468329 WARNING <general>: DARWINOSX: underflow (0 vs 4096 bytes)

In the logs, today it seems to start but then it stops:

I've put the same url in my browser and it successfully downloaded a .m3u file

Is this a known problem ?
Is my m3u playlist format correct ? Should I use a different type in the url request ?
How can I fix this please ?

Thanks for your help

Full logs are helpful, and like I mentioned though, not in the main text of your post please.

Please the full debug log and I can take a look.

What you could try is setting the user agent to vlc. There is an option in settings to do that.
