In general you need at least developer mode enabled or a rooted TV and LG CLI tools installed. Then you just install with ares-install [filename].
Some test builds are here https://mirrors.kodi.tv/test-builds/webos/

I have installed it but app keeping crashing at starting the 4 ipk the same

I tried with webOS 4.4.2
TV model 50UK6470PLC

At first run I can just see Kodi logo and after that it crashes. Launching via command line and I get this error
 root@LGwebOSTV:/media/developer/apps/usr/palm/applications/org.xbmc.kodi# ./kodi-webos --debug
./kodi-webos: error while loading shared libraries: libatomic.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I tested other files from https://mirrors.kodi.tv/test-builds/webos/ and version org.xbmc.kodi_20.90.101_webos7_new-toolchain_arm.ipk does launch.

Edit. I think error for missing libatomic.so.1 is not related to problem with later builds not starting because I get same error even for working build if I try to start via command line.

Build instructions mentions kodi.sh but where I can found it? xbmc/README.webOS.md at master · xbmc/xbmc (github.com)

Thanks!
On my C2 I have a lot of issues starting some files (without audio for example), and there seem to be problems with some Dolby Vision playback being cropped weirdly.
For those that start and seemingly play fine, the audio is out of sync.

Can we use a subforum to report these or with issues on GitHub?
I'm aware this is all WIP but the development seems too private to keep up with, so I don't know if issues are the right place.

Are you using passthrough audio? That's still very much WIP and not yet expected to work.

As for issues: should be fine to open them on GitHub, but be advised that the guys working on this can be found on their discord: https://discord.gg/nKQW6FPWeM

I hadn't changed any setting from default, so I doubt it was doing passthrough. My files were also Opus, which LG doesn't support.
I'll try getting debug logs to open issues.

@tam5941

"Not working" is a description that we cannot work with. You'll have to be much more elaborate for us to know what exactly is going wrong.
Is Kodi starting at all, does it crash while running a video..? And of course, Kodi's debug log should give us more insight.
