Hey guys I had this installed on osmc but I had to reformat my SD card. I can't find it on repository and can't install this from a zip because of an xbmc python dependency error. Any insight? Thanks!

Use (and install) the Nerds Repository: https://repo.kodinerds.net

Download the Repo addon as zip (that's the red button in the menu list) and install from zip. After that you can directly install the AWOL from Nerds repository. Also look here: https://www.kodinerds.net/index.php/Thre...post606076 . Use a online translator like deepl.com for translating if necessary.

Dears,
i was just made aware about this Add-on. Looks promissing as this could be a solution for some of my challenges.

But consideringt that the last posts here (and in the kodinerds forum) are already a few years old, i wonder if this Add-on is still maintained? Can anybody confirm if the latest version (3.0.9 from the kodinerds repo if i am not mistaken) is compatible with Kodi/ZDMC 20.x??

ZDMC 20.2 on Zidoo UHD3000

Version 3.0.9 seems to work well on Kodi 20.2. The only downside i see is that the Add-on can only wake up one single NAS.

Is there a way to make this work for 2, 3 or 4 NAS´s??

I’d like to do the same, especially with Omega as NFS is pretty much useless if only one NAS is running and you have sources on more than one NAS.

Needs some rewriting but is in progress...

New version available in Kodinerds Repo. Addon handles up to 4 devices now. It's urgently necessary to reconfigure your settings.

...this seems to work pretty well! I tried this out on 2 different devices (Kodi 20.2 on a Win11 HTPC, ZDMC 20.2 on a Zidoo UHD 3000) and in all cases the NAS´s wake up.

The only bug i see up to now are (false negative) error messags saying "NASxxx is not waking up" while the NAS´s were in fact already online.

This error mesage even appeared, when the NAS´s were alreday online when Kodi was started.

Maybe you have set a wrong name for your NAS's? This must be the name in your  network (e.g. 'nas-001') or IP adress of the NAS as this is used for ping the device. Wake up is via MAC adress, but pinging (and therefore wake-up detection) is via IP or network name.
