Milhouse or popcornmix i don't know what's happening here if you have time can you pls tell me what is wron with my setup?

If you got huge frame drop within 9 minutes, setting "number of buffers used by graphics driver" change to 3 from 2.

It's new setting and this problem start with #0415.

Thanks but i have no frame drops and i tried that setting and changed from 3 to 2.

My iossue here is with build #0420 refreshrate switch isn't working so when playing live tv while display refreshrate to 50hz the video freezes.
But when i set in kodi refreshrate 50hz and then play live tv streams plays good (no freezes)

When playing video 24hz it switch from 60hz to 24hz like it should be so only refreshrate 60 to 50hz live tv videoplayback is freezing.

Can you test with "sync playback to display" enabled/disabled.
Can you test with omxplayer enabled/disabled.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - UsefulG - 2016-04-24

Great work, I love my PI based media centre with LibreELEC.

I'm running the latest test build and the PVR api has been bumped to 5.2.0 which means a number of PVR clients can't be enabled because they are looking for 5.1.1, does this mean only TV Headend 4.2 is supported in these builds going forward or do I need to wait until the clients in the main Kodi repo are updated?

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - Milhouse - 2016-04-24

The next build (not entirely sure when that will be - I will try and do a build tonight, then that might be it for a while) will include updated PVR addons.

tvheadend42 is the only version of tvheadend I'm personally building as this is the version based on tip of tvheadend master. Once the 8.0 repository is available you should find versions of both tvheadend addons, although neither is likely to be the latest master code.

Thanks popcornmix i tried them both on and off and issue still here.

Here is my log

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - Kiralina - 2016-04-24

Still no hifiberry digi + sound card in build #0424, same as #0423. Back to #0420.

I don't know what has changed in the last 2 builds, that makes the ALSA sound card settings vanish, but pretty please, bring them back.

Did you even read the release notes? Hifiberry support always seems to lag new kernels.

Sorry, but I know nothing about coding and building ELEC.

I just know how to manually enable by writing some lines in config.text and using some terminal commands, my sound card. That's all.

I've seen I can't use it anymore and I reported it. I'm sorry if I offended anybody.

And yes, I read the release notes, but for me ,new kernel doesn't equal no hifiberry.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - J_E_F_F - 2016-04-25

Most of our installations are probably internet connected, and many are also configured to connect to other home network devices (SMB etc) do we need to worry about security since all *elec installations have the same known SSH login?

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - Milhouse - 2016-04-25

You can disable SSH password logins and use public keys if you're concerned about security.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - illiac4 - 2016-04-25

Is latest tvheadend service addon intentionally moved into new folder tvheadend4.2?

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) - Pienoet - 2016-04-25

Thanks milhouse,

Pvr tvheadend client works with #0424 build but still my issue with auto refreshrate switch 60 hz to 50 hz Live TV still here with this build..

It's the bump from 4.4 kernel to 4.6 kernel.

After booting, can you report dmesg, "vcdbg log msg", "aplay -l", "lsusb" output?
