SYSTEM
MAC MINI LAVE 2012
OSX 10.15.7
KODO 19.3

OPENSUBTITLES plugin has been re-instralled.

It logs in and shows the subs, but fails to download.

Perhaps if you provide the full debug log, we can see some context.
The same add-on works just fine here on (for example) my Kodi setup (not a Mac Mini though).

Sure

not much more to see

Just for info
I restarted and tested a sub download.
same error

Cant say when the issue started, but its rather resent.

NB: did a full reinstall...but kept my userdata etc.
Still same issue
Could it be some error in my system / setup?

Just tried it on a mac mini , fresh install of unity , added opensubs from official repo , logged in with user and pw . Working fine , plenty of subs popping up when searching.

It seems no matter what IP I use, I appear to be blocked ?

Here on a VPN IP
Sorry, maximum download count for IP: xx.xx.221.18 exceeded. If you will continue trying to download, your IP will be blocked by our firewall. For more information read our FAQ or contact us, if you think you should not see this error. This deny will be removed after around 24 hours, so be patient.

I tried both other VPN IPs and my Private global IP

Did something at open subtitles.org change recently?

Never experienced this before, am I the only one having problems

The problem seems to be the same on my Emby server.

How many subtitles have you downloaded, because maximum download count for IP: xx.xx.221.18 exceeded is pretty clear.
