Not currently, but I guess an option to disable the infoline might make sense since you can get most of the other info from info dialog.

I'm not sure what you mean by have it coloured though? The text?

I keep on searching to that option also. Based on the changelog it was removed. Maybe it looks good for local library because codec information is the one showing there. But if your setup is for streaming it looks inconsistent. It keeps on switching to providers, codec, and kodi version. Browsing TV shows is just empty except to the shows you already watched.
It was never an option. It always displayed providers and codecs in info dialog. There was previously an option to show item counts in the library view but it would still switch to providers and codecs in info. This option was removed as it is unnecessary duplication of the view line where you can also enable item counts.
To answer the actual question, which provider icons and are allow to show is determined in TMDbHelper settings. You can disable individual provider icons there.
That's what I meant the providers & item counts option which I'm using before.

I know I'm the reason you bring back the expanded notification style but the changes you recently made in floating notification is looking gorgeous! I'm okay if you wanted to remove the expanded notification style.

You can't disable them as they're needed for focus/navigation and it becomes a pain to manage without them.
But if it's mostly for backgrounds, you can enable the option "Categories slide up on focus" and that will hide the buttons plus plot (just shows clearlogo and background) when the categories are focused -- it will only show the spotlight buttons if you deliberately press up to access them.
The slide up on focus option is perfect, thanks. It also pulls the widget up a bit so it's not cut off at the bottom of the screen which is a nice added bonus
